About the smartnotes

Retrieving a smartnote
The left menu displays two useful and fun tools to help you FIND your smartnotes:

• If the smartnote is lost in a page either clogged or too wide: click the "in the page" link under FIND. This shows in the left menu the list of all the smarnotes in the page, sorted by date or by author. Rolling the mouse over one item in the list moves the corresponding smartnote to the center of the screen. Clicking will pin the smartnote in that position.

• If the smartnote was deleted, click the "in the past" link: this will start the time machine, which is designed to retrieve your page as it was at the time when the lost smartnote was still there.

* When you start time machine, the page shows in its current state.

1. Step back (or forward) in time with the big yellow arrows, to browse the past states of your page.
2. Once you see the smartnote you were looking for, select it with a click.
3. Then, click "Bring back" in the left menu to import it back into your current page.
