About the smartnotes

Picking the right smartnote


You select a smartnote in either of two locations:

• In the left menu, under THE SMARTNOTES

The left menu displays (at most) four smartnotes, but you are likely to find there the one you need. Your Quomodo space includes several types of pages: the home page, timetable pages, collages, project pages, forum pages, and other shared pages. Each page comes with the most appropriate set of smartnotes.

To learn about a given smartnote's function, roll the mouse over its icon to have it display a short explanatory text.

To use a smartnote, click its icon. The new note will open in "edit mode", where you can fill it in: click OK when you are done. While in "edit mode" a [how to] link is available to show an illustrated short user guide, which may help the first time you use the smartnote.

• In the smarnotes showcase

To use a smartnote which is not shown, click the big + button located in the middle of the left menu. This will display the smartnotes showcase. Click a smartnote's icon to use it. Click on the cross (in the showcase's right edge) to dismiss it.
